We've worked on many custom projects over the years that have been some of the most interesting, challenging and rewarding experiences. In collaborating closely with our clients, we've come up with innovative solutions that capture interest and wonder for the intended audience. Here are a few examples of how our custom Japanese calligraphy art and design have helped define the success of these projects.
Guije Ceramic Mugs
We have been fortunate to be included in a small way of the monstrous success of Miami's local monster bar, Bar Kaiju, by crafting our art on one of their most unique and special cocktail vessels, the 'Güije.' It comes in a black ceramic mug, adorned with our custom-crafted Japanese art & calligraphy. As with all our work, each drink is completely unique and one-of-a-kind.
Vinyl Record Art
We're currently partnered with Grand Cru Records in creating cover art for their limited edition line of vinyl records. This has included a number of singles and a final LP, with each individual cover hand-painted and one-of-a-kind. The album, titled 'Japanese Whiskey', is running their first-press with a limited first-edition set of only 50 copies per song.
NOBU Art Program
Starting in April 2024 we've partnered with Nobu Hotel in Miami Beach to create a VIP Amenity Art Program for their special guests. We regularly supply custom Japanese calligraphy artwork as a welcome amenity for many hotel guests. The artwork features guest names interpreted into Japanese kanji, in a similar way that we do at our live shows. Who knows, you may find one of our complementary artworks during your next stay!
Gifts For NOBU
Around the same time we first started to work with Nobu Hotel, we were hired to make a series of personal birthday gifts for the founder and namesake of franchise himself, Nobu-San Matsuhisa. We had the distinct privilege and honor to create and present these to him, as well as entertain at the accompanying event, "A Taste Of Nobu", which celebrated the 30-year anniversary of his globally acclaimed franchise.
